Wyll was not one to find himself jealous easily. But for some reason, on that very night, he had only wanted to cross over the campfire and lay waste to Gale, watching as he attempted to openly flirt with Tav in front of him, as well as a few other prying eyes. Everyone else ignored the interaction entirely. Yet Gale’s words of weave and the intimate nature of magic gave rise to Wyll’s ire, no longer able to maintain his patience. He held his open book over his lap, but his eyes never left Tav, and subsequently, Gale. Wyll rolled his eyes before going back to his book. From the corner of his eye, Wyll watched as Gale shifted himself closer to Tav’s side, his hand grazing their knee.

Wyll snapped his book shut. The audacity of Gale to come onto Tav, knowing from Wyll himself how he had felt about them, should have been more than enough reason for him to stay away.

Or so he thought.

So this was a complete accident to discover.

Summary: Minsc refuses to watch Tav have a breakdown. Instead of sitting idly by, he does what he can to reassure them in every possible way.

The words that left Minsc’s lips pulled Tav from their distracted state, zoned out from last night’s almost indescribably violent battle. Their eyes never left the fire. For much of the night, they could not begin to fathom sleep, not with flash after flash replaying in their mind, memories far too fresh, reminiscent of every detail down to the blood on their hands.

Tav slowly turned their head from the fire, pointing their blank-faced stare at Minsc, who sat across the late-night bonfire, a partially concerned smile placating the typical positivity that outlined his face. “Why do you think that?” They found themself asking. “I could barely keep any of you safe.” Tav’s voice softened, the disappointment clearly evident in their tone.

At night, Wyll was once again at the mercy of his thoughts.

While getting ready for bed, he would find himself unable to control the heat of desire that overcame him. Every time he changed clothes, it was far too noticeable for comfort. At least in the heat of battle, he had something to distract him from his source of desire.

But after everyone fell asleep, that control spiraled into something else, a need he felt nothing but utmost shame for. Wyll would do everything in his power to ignore the lust swimming in his head, now day and night. A mere crush on a person was far too pure for such behavior.

Summary: Aziraphale plans a taste testing date at a local café with Crowley, in a corner booth where no one can find them.

Aziraphale was never one to complain, about anything unless it could be detrimental to himself or anyone around him. He enjoyed every moment as it stood, or in this case, sat. He looked across the short white table, ignoring the two black coffee mugs with starkly different beverages within them. He didn’t even pay any mind to the variety of pastries littering the table on little white plates. His sight was set on only one person, and one person only, adjusting his nervous hands flat on his lap, and pushing back his shoulders.

Aziraphale barely blinked, letting out the breath he held tight in his chest.

Happy Sunday!

I took this on my day off before rushing out to the post office, but this was the giveaway result! I’m beyond myself with how well this giveaway worked out, even more psyched that I got to give one of the books out to someone who genuinely wanted to read it! Something about that might sound simple to anyone else, but to an author, that made me so very happy!
